How REB8 Points Work

The businesses in our directory proudly signal their financial support for the causes that matter most to their employees and customers. Through their listings, they create REB8 Points as a reward for those who shop locally—boosting local tax revenue and driving meaningful changes in wages and policies. Once each year, your accumulated points unlock an exclusive opportunity to invest in our real estate fund, helping you secure a stronger future for yourself and your community.

Points Are Not Investments

  • REB8 Points are reward points, not financial investments.

  • They do not increase in value and cannot be transferred to anyone else.

  • Unredeemed points expire after 10 years.

How To Earn Points

  • Check in at local businesses and explore their products or services.

  • Visit the websites of our member businesses.

  • Make purchases or complete specific actions defined by member businesses (when applicable).

  • Join and participate in our online communities.

  • Refer friends, family, and colleagues to REB8.

Using Your Points

  • Once a year, if you’ve accumulated enough points, you can cash them out to purchase shares in our affordable workforce housing real estate fund. (Coming Soon)

  • The number of shares you can purchase depends on how many points you’ve earned throughout the year.
